Export Growth
Riau Islands Province of export value in February 2010 reaching U.S. $ 1,033.62 million or decreased by 15.20 percent compared to exports in January 2010. Meanwhile, when compared with exports in February 2009, exports in February 2010 has increased by 118.63 percent. Export value of Riau Islands Province in February 2010 through the Port Batu Ampar biggest is U.S. $ 314.57 million, followed by Port Island Sambu U.S. $ 296.22 million, Kabil / Panau U.S. $ 148.84 million, Sekupang U.S. $ 127.35 million, and Port Lobster Natuna U.S. $ 93.84 million, with the fifth to reach 94.89 percent contribution.
February 2010 oil and gas exports reached U.S. $ 389, down 59 million or 43.59 percent compared to January 2010. February 2010 non-oil exports reached U.S. $ 644.03 million or an increase of 21.92 percent compared to January 2010, when compared with February 2009 non-oil exports increased 36.22 percent.

State's largest supplier of imported goods occupied by Singapore with a value of U.S. $ 461.83 million with 57.96 percent contribution.
Port of unloading of imported goods is the largest port of Batu Ampar with import value of U.S. $ 365.78 million or 45.90 percent of total imports of Riau Islands Province in February 2010. Sekupang port followed by a value of U.S. $ 142.32 million (17.86 percent), ports Kabil / Panau with value of U.S. $ 101.84 million (12.78 percent), and the port of Tanjung Uban valued at U.S. $ 91.90 million (11.53 percent).
